Look above TheLawnet's
Tool Bar
and you will see the menus depicted above. These menus - known as
TheLaw.net Linkbar - are represented by a single file that now
resides on your computer. These menus exist separately from our
proprietary case law database and they contain more than 80,000
detailed pathfinders to web based documents and databases.
If you need a statute, rule, administrative regulation,
judicial or administrative form, court information, executive
agency information, or legislative information at the Federal or
state level, the Linkbar will get you where you need to go - FAST!
The Linkbar will also take you to practice specific materials,
Federal, state, county, local and practice related bar
associations, more than 5,000 news sources, nearly 1,000 Reference
Desk resources, and much, much more.
At TheLaw.net Corporation we employ information
technologists who do nothing but maintain and enhance this Linkbar.
Then, from time to time - usually about once a week - we upload
the latest version of the Linkbar to our servers for you to
download.
Over the summer of 2002, we developed a
separate piece of software that automates the process of
monitoring our systems for new versions of the Linkbar so you
don't have to. This software also automates the installation of
updated Linkbar versions so that you don't have to be a computer
guru to stay current.
