Your Linkbar Update Software is an application that runs in your system tray
for automating the process of updating your Linkbar so that you
are always using the latest version available. Because the law
and the Internet live and breath, the Linkbar is updated
frequently.
The LinkBar application provides the following benefits:
Automatic update on startup of TheLaw.Net.
Regular updates at specified intervals.
Updates at your request.
Confirmation of updates prior to receiving them.
Adjustable settings to turn automatic update features on or off, confirmation on or off, or choices of selectable interval adjustment or updates on startup.
TheLaw.Net LinkBar runs
in the system tray in the
lower right-corner of the screen.
Run TheLaw.Net - This option will run TheLaw.Net. It is also the default option for the menu, which means that if you left-click on the icon, it will run TheLaw.Net.
Settings... - This option will open the Settings dialog.
Update Now - This option will instruct the program to download the latest data files for TheLaw.Net.
Help - This option provides this help file.
Exit - This option will exit the LinkBar.
The Settings dialog provides the following options:
Enable Auto-Update - This option enables or disables automatic updates.
Always Check on Startup - This option instructs LinkBar to check for new updates every time TheLaw.Net is run.
Auto-Update every _____ day(s). - The option instructs LinkBar to check for new updates at regular intervals of the number of days specified.
Ask for Confirmation - This option will instruct LinkBar to request confirmation of updates prior to download.
Update Now - This option will instruct the program to download the latest data files for TheLaw.Net.
